j VEST EU DAY'S GAMES. The weather was again perfect for the matches yesterday. At the Athletic Grounds the Star-High School match proved an interesting contest, High School eventually winning by 6 points to 5. The one point, however, does not represent the difference, between the teams on the day's play, as High School should have won much more comfortably. At Geraldine, after a very feist game, the home team defeated Zingari by 9 points to 3. In the junior competition Star and Temuka,, playing on the Athletic grounds, played a drawn game, each side scoring (j points. Zingari defaulted to High School.
