A MURDER CASE.
STABBED HIS OWN SON. IN A FIT OF TEMPER. (Per Press Association.) PALMEIISTON N., July 9. At the Magistrate's Court, before Sir W. G. Jackson was cilarged that at iiaumai, on June 29th, lie did kill Thomas Claude Grammer Jackson, by stabbing ■ hiiu u'ich a knife. j The evidence was to the effect that Jackson, his famiiy, and three friends j were at dinner when a knock was I hoard at tlio door. Jackson and Mrs Jackson went out. When George I Jackson returned to the dining r<> m ,ho kicked his chair into a corner. I Tom told him to behave himself. I Jackson replied that ho would do as ho liked in his own house. He then picked up a knife and threatened to stab Tom. Tom jumped up and told him to put the knife down. Jackson camo partly round the corner of the table and struck at Tom with the knife.. He then threw dtmn tl 10 knife and snid "There. T told you."
