MAIL NOTICES.

At the Chief Post Office, Timaru, subject to any necessary alterations, mails wi'l closo as under:— For offices in North Island daily, 1 p.m. For Temuka, Geraldine, Ashburton and Christchurch daily at 6 a.m., ana Ip.m. and 3-30 p.m. For Waimate and Oamaru and intermediate offices 6 a.m. tnd 3 p m For Dunedin and Invoreargill at 3 p.m. For Fairlie, Pleasant Point, Cave, and Albury on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 6 a.m., and 3.15 p.m. daily. Registered letter mails close one hour, and newspaper*? and parcel mails close 45 minutes earlier than ordinary letter mails.
