WEDDING.

OLIVER—-TENNENT. A quiet wedding (book place on March 7th sit St. John's Church Wanganui, when Miss Dorothy Tennent, 3rd daughter of Mr and Mrs D. C. Tennenrt, lateof "Westward Ho." Marton, was married hy tlio Yen. Archdeacon. Reeve, to Mr Victor Oliver, third son of Mr and the Int.- }irs T. Oliver, of Pleasant Point. The bride, who was

given away by her father, wore a pretty grey coat and skirt of gray morie, with a black hat trimmed wilth saxe-blue, and carried a bouquet of pink roses,' orange blossoms and heath. Miss Ivy Oliver was bridesmaid and wore a. cream coat and skirt and black hat trimmed with pink. Mr Ernest Oliver acted as best man. Among those present were Mr and .Mrs D. C. „Tennent, Mr and Mra Percy Tennen'b (Te Kuiti), Mr and Mrs lan Simpson (Woodville), Mr and Mrs Boyer (Waverley), Miss Gascoyne (New Plymouth), Mr and Mrs O. Greenwood, Dr. and Mrs Hogg, (Wellington), Mr and Mrs Brodie, Mr W. and Miss Jessie Tennent, and Ven. Archdeacon Towgood,Later Mr and Mrs V. Oliver left for the smith, and- went overland by motor Via Kaikoura to Timaru. Mr Oliver leaves fcr Tren'fcham early in April.
