The various items of -the children were very.-much appreciated,; as also were the stirring-(addresses of the Rev. P. Wilson,,and the Rev. G. Nanson., The chairman, Mr Howard Barton, in a neat, speech thanked, Mr Nanson, on behalf of the parents,..for imparting religious instruction -,ta scholars. Votes of thanks- were to Miss A. Pollock Smith, for the, work she had done with the children, to the Rev. Peter Wilson, . and-jtho.-.Rev.'G.; Nanson, for. their splendid speeches; and also to the ladiesand friends who so generously responded and made the gathering a siiccess.
