BRUSILOFF'S CONFIDENCE
ENEMY'S GREAT LOSSES. (Renter's Telegrams.) PETROGRAD, Sept. 27. • General Brusiloff is most confident. He declares ' the war has reached a period where success is no longer to be estimated by the amount of territory capturecV. but by the number of the enemy placed hors de combat. The Russians have deprived the AustroGermans of 800,000 men in four months.
"When the propitious moment arrives," he said, "we shall inake new big bounds forward and easily overcome the shaken armies. The final vie-' tory will then be near."
