IvJLLED BY TRAINS. Per Press Association. AVANGAXL'I, August 27. An elderly man: named Walter Abram, one of the oldest residents of the town, was killed by a tra.ui at Barracks Street crossing. JJe walked on. to the line when a train was approaching, and sustained shocking injuries to his head. ° DLNEDIN, August 27. James Hagan, age .16 years, single, a farmer at Tumai, was picked up'on the railway line this morning, shockingly dismembered. „ He Dimediri on Thursday, -.nd left bv the 4.30 tra'n for 'Wa.ikounit'.
