Practically all parents contribute to our water scheme, and the committees have difficulty in piovidhig money to meet the demands upon them and liavo to augment their iiuids by calling upon parents tor si;lnscriptions, etc. As I know the Mayor's time must ha fully occupied just now, I will not ask lii-u for any reasons for the Council's action !if tho statement ho true.
