A FIERCE ENCOUNTER. REBELS KILLED AND WOUNDED. CAPETOWN, Nov. 11. One hundred and twenty rebels were killed and wounded and twenty-five taken prisoner in a. fierce encounter with Colonel Kirk at Vanderventen. At Zandfontein, near Warmbaths, twelve loyalists were killed and eleven wounded. Colonel Manie Botha a a well-known fighting commander .in the Boer war, with two hundred loyalists dispersed four hundred rebels outside Kronstadt.
