DE WET'S SON KILLED. REBELS CAPTURED. PRETORIA, Nov. 10De Wet with two thousand folio wers ' dispersed a small Government commando near Winburg under General j Cronje, a ftiember of the Legislative I Assembly. De Wet's son was killed. The Government strongly reinforcing General Cronje's forces captured the rebels. They state that they were sjamboked by De Wet. Colonel Lemmer's union forces totally defeated Beyers's rebels at the Vet River. Nine of the latter were killed, 11 wounded and 349 taken prisoners. Three loyalists were' killed and wounded.
