AT THE POINT. Or. Monthly n:ght the annual nieetr iiig of tlie Pleasant Pouit Caledonian Society was hold. There was a good attendance, and Mr J. Stewart, president, occupied the chair. . Mr Stewart said he Avas very glad to report that tho gate and entry money and proceeds from tho annual dance nero very satisfactory, but lie was sorry to say that members' subscriptions were not what they ought to be. The sports and dance had been very successful. He moved the adoption of the balance sheet, which was carried unanimously. Mr Stewart also moved a vote of thanks to the judges, and thanked' tho outgoing directors for tho work that "t'aey had done and hoped that the incoming directors would act as capably ths year. Mr Laurenson moved, and Mr Medl.oott seconded that Mr Stewart be re-elected president for the year. This was carried unancmouslir. The new directors are —" Messrs Laurenson.
