An agent of the Belgian State railways describes a German cold-blooded massacre at AeTscliot. A brooding over liis country's wrongs, sliot a German Colonel who was commander of the town, dead. EVIDENCE FROM LOCVAIN. Received 12.5 a.m., Sept. sth. LONDON, Sept. 4 (a.m.) Hague newspapers are full of descriptions of the Louva,in horrors. Dutch eye witnesses state that prior to the outrage tho inhabitants were tliorouglily cowed, so terrified that they hardly dared speak to each other in th© streets. On the night that Louvain was blotted out of the map tuvy saw Germans shooting the inhabitants haphazard. As each house caught fire tho Germans battered in the front doors of the next house, and when the frightened inhabitants rushed out they were shot down, men, women, and children. One German boasted that he had shot sixty-three people. R-ecoived 1.5 a.m., Sept. sth. Mr Oliver Madox Hueffer at Boulogne interviewed the Cure of a little village south-west of Brussels. The Cure stated that an officer rodo over a little child in the street, killing her, and he rode on, cursing. One of the criowd flung a stone, and Gov mans immediately fired, killing several villagers. Tho Cure and twelve notables were then seized. Later a villager fired a single shot, and five hostages were shot. In addition many villagers were killed by indiscriminate volleys, and their village burnt.
