Ho was Archbishop of Bologna and was only created a Cardinal this year. Ho was born in 1854. Tho last Popo Benedict was also Archbishop of Bologna. A PERSONAL NOTE. Received 10.25 p.m., Sept. 4th. Sept. 3. Cardinal Delia Cliicsa is 50 years of age. He is a member of an ancioni noblo family. He was recently made Archbishop of Bologna. Formerly ho was tho Associate of the late Cardinal Rampolla, when ho was Papal Secretary. He'is expected to revivo Popo Leap's policy of strengthening th© political foundations of the church. The result -of tho election was a surprise, but is warmly acclaimed.
