A rather dcsp'cahle trick has been three t Jins played with the tank which supplies water for sreial gatherings at tin; hall. On the evening of the lucliei!ors: ball it was found that all * the wato rliael been run out, so water had to lie carried a considerable, distance at the last minute. Til's was again repeated just before the sp'nsters' ball, ami afterwards pieces of soap were . feund in the tank. Just before the last social the tank was turned so that tin; tap is inside the building, so the soap trick was renrated. and fresh water had again to be obta'ned. Tho perpiiraiors of such despicable atis may look forward to rcceiv.ng their due a!, an early date..
