DICK ARNST'S INTENTIONS.
THINKING OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, July 10. Dr Thacker, of Christchurjii, who has just returned from Sydney, had a talk * with Richard Arnst anent the proposal of the latter to try and recover the world's sculling championship. Arnst has for. some time past been engaged in "bushwhacking," and is In tin- best of health. tie intends, if l:t continues to improve physically, to return to the sculls and join Felton in his training; for liis match with Pearco which will be arranged shortly. In concluding an interview with a, reporter Dr Thacker said: " Arnstwill test himself thoroughly before filially deciding to make another attempt to annex the world's championship, and the least that can bo said" is that he is in deadlv earnest."
