Tar better for all if engage annually in rivalry." | A most enjoyable afternoon was spent on the Kia Toa' green on Saturday afternoon when five club rinks were opposed by three representating the Educationists, and two from the Park Club. The green was heavy, but the afternoon was ideal for bowling. D. Ferguson once more met Hadlee, and after a good game the honours went to the latter's rink. J! Dalglish and Sealey played a good game, the scoring being ]ow and the heads good. Dalglish eventually won by five points. Jtissel and Simmers had good teams, but the Kia Toa rink finished with a big majority. Kissel u-is in splendid form getting the shot on several occasions' when Simmers was lying a few. Brown and Dewar liad an even game till half way, when Brown's rink forged ahead and won by a good majority. SI: illito's team started badly, against W. Hawkeys rink. The Kia Toa men rfiade a good recovery, however, and the final score was 22-19 in favour of Hawkey.
