_Mrs W. H. Foden has gone to Christ-cluir'-h to talcs an active part in the big bazaax\ which is being held there for the Navy .League. His Honour Mr Justice Dena'ston came down to '•''imarii yesterday to presido at the Supreme Court sessions which open here this morning. Bishop Julius, who has been on a visit to the Old Country, and who arrived at Fremantle a few days ago, will.spend about a month in Australia before returning to New Zealand. He is expected back in Christchurek ahout January 1 or 2. Mr A. A. Hintz, formerly hVit assistant at Toiiuka District High School, and at present Dirsetor of Technical Education at Nelson, Las been advised by cable of his appointment to the staff of the Education Department, Singapore, Straits Settlements. He will leave Sydney for the East at the end of December. Tho Prime Minister left Auckland for Wellington- by the mid-day ttain yesterday. All LTie Ministers except two visit Dunedni this • week. Fraser will attend the L'awr-anc* banquet. • Lord and Lady Islington left Auckland for Sydney last night.
