Referring to the printed balanco-shoot, Mr Burns pointed out that oomo of tho items of expenditure wero non-renurront, or wouJd be loss tioxt year, so that tho next Show would thus bo holped to n mora satisfactory flnanoinl outcome. year began with a credit balance of £1 & 3d, and tho receipts (ihcludiog this) wero £WJ 7s Id." Tha chief items were:—Kntry fees £34 Gs, sale of art union tickets £GO 11b Gd, members' subscriptions £l7 153, cash donations £ls 19s Gd. The expenditure totalled £203 6s, leaving a cash balance of Is Id only, 'The chief items of outlay wore: —Prize-money £77 9s 6d, advertising and printing £37 12s, art union prizes £lB l".s Od, hire of Olympia £l3 15s, secretary (s-.il.vrv and commission) £l3 7s, hire of pens £5 17:;. carting £.s. ]os. 'I ho report and balance-sheet were followed. Mr S. K. I!urns, president; and eight yieo-presideuts were elected. A long list of patrons was adopted for oieetioii subject to their consent; Mr J. Thompson was elected hun. treasurer; honorary veterinary surgeons, Messrs A. M. Puterson and C. G. Ascho; and the auditor, Mr F. C. "Watson ; and tho secretary, Mr A. E. I.'-sard, were re-elected. The officers at their nest meeting will select judges, revise the prizo schedule for the next Show, and make arrangements for a hall for the Show.
