Gobble and Son took tho first prizes for verbenas, hardy cut flowers and collection pf those (Mrs Hertslctt 2), carnations, poustonons, twolvo nnnrn's. and flowers grown in open. Mrs F. AY. R. Jones was first in roses, and sweet Kas, i. J. Hitchens in pnnsios. J. Fulton in singledahlias, Mrsi>7. Frnnd? in <a'lus dahlias. In fruit, W. H. Hargre ives W).is first for rosns; Mrs Francis fiist first for red and white currants; K. IVilco, for eating apples; J. Fulton, for cooking apples and peaches; rud M. Smith for plums.
