Messrs 31. S. Priest, F. KnubK?v, W. J. Thomson, W. Dal ton, F. J. LcCren, Yv. H. Jakins, and J. AYithell (juar.) were elected members of the Association. Accounts amounting to £4l 4s 2d word passed for payment and the meeting closed. W AIM ATE ASSOCIATION. The adjourned meeting of the "Wai- ; mate A. and P. Association Committee was resumed on Saturday afternoon, when Mr J. F. Hay presided over a fair attendance of members. On the recommendation of the ground committee it was agreed to coniplv with the request of Racing Club, and allow the show ring to be shifted further away from the course, provided the club boar the cost of removal and re-erection.—The report was adopted. The principal business was the selection of judges for the different classes, and several names were selected /-and the secretary was instructed as to the order in which to write to them. A sub-committee was appointed to call for tenders and arrange- for printing. It was decided to hold the annual horse parade on Wednesday.. 4th October, at the old show ground.
