The Now Zealand Loan and Mercnntila Agency Company, Lt., report that at the land sale which they hold in Waimate on Saturday, when they offer-' od several valuable town jroporties on account of the executors of the late A. Y. Haye6, there were a food many buyers presont, but no sales wore effected under; the hammer as the vendors reserves were not roched. Negotiations for private sale of a good many of the lote are now pending.
