WELSH MINERS REBUKED. Tho executive committee of tho Minora' Federation of Britain, rejected tho South Wales Miners' appeal to support financially the Rhondda strikers. QXrEENSLAND SUGAR TRADE. BRISBANE, July 1. Mr Tudor, Federal Minister for Trade and Customs, has axrivod at Bundaborg in connection with tho sugar workers' strike. Ho met the growers, who agreed that the mon's demands were reasonable but said they were unable to grant them until their own conditions were improved! and they received a higher price for cane. They suggested that the price should be regulated by the Government. Mr Tudor said he was unable to see how tho Government could regulate prices, but he would make enquiries. The sugar companies wore not ia the business for the good of their health, and were evidently making comfortable profits.
