The forepart has broken and the cargo disappeared. , A YACHT MISSING. MELBOURNE, March * The yacht Mavis, with four men on board, is missing. It is feared that they were lost in the storm of Sunday. FERRY STEAMER BURNED: SFDNEY, March 22. The ferry steamer Kaludah caught fire at her moorings in Parramatta river early this morning, and breaking loose she drifted in shore and was burned to the water's edge and sank. ACETYLENE FATALITY, i Per Press Association. FEILDING, March 22. A shocking tragedy occurred at Colyton last night, which resulted in the death of Stephen Molvin, an old settler. Melviu, who had had an engineering training, was experimenting with an acetylene gas plant made by himself, an explosion took place. Terrible injuries were inflicted on Molvin's face, and he died halt' nn hour later.
