New South Wales sent six delegates, and Tasmania, West Australia and South Australia together, 18. Ho strongly urged the necessity for representation on a population basis. Unless he oould see the Interstate Confaronco reformed he was afraid he would hare to stop outside tho Labour movement. A heated debate followed, one delegate calling for "Cheers for Holmon, the Traitor to Australia." THE POSTAL EMPLOYEES. At tho postal employees' mooting, strong complaints were voiced regarding the undermanned, underpaid, overworked, and general chaotic conditions of the servioe. Though strike methods were deprecated, it was stated that the patience of the employees was exhausted. If they failed to got redress from the Postmaster-General or Parliament, there was the ballot box, and they had power there.
