BLIZZARD IN CANADA. Press Association—By Tel. —Copyright LONDON, Feb. 2. The worst storm experienced for twenty years is sweeping Canada from the Rocky Mountains to the Atlantic. The railways are almost at a standstill. Two trains are stationary on the summit of Crow's Nest Pass, and snow ploughs are working to release them. Eleven days' rain has isolated many towns in Idaho. FLOODS IN QUEENSLAND. BRISBANE, Feb. 3. The heavy rain 9 continue. Adavale, Roma, and Charleville report that the rivers are in high flood, and portions of the towns are inundated. Coach traffic is suspended. Floods caused several washaways on the Cen--1 Railway, and all traffic west of Jericho and East Barcaldine is blocked. The continued heavy weather is interfering with the attempts to refloat the Eastern and salve the cargo. Futr tugs, assisted by the Eastern's own engines, tugged for four hours, and failed to move her. ' STEAMER FOUNDERS. MADRID, Feb. 2. Advices from Sagunto state that the steamer Lepanto has foundered, and 22 persons perished.
