The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer "Waimate is expected cere on Monday next from Napier. From rltis port she will proceed to Port Chalmers, from where she sails finally for London direct. _ The Federal Houlder Slure liner Nairnshire, due here from Wellington, will leave again on Monday for Lyttelton, her final port. She leaves Lyttelton on Thursday next for Avonmoilth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. The Kaituna arrived last evening from Westport after a fair run round the coast. She lands a part cargo of coal, and leaves for Oamaru and Lyttelton to-morrow. The Corinna arrived from Wellington last evening. She landed 59 tons general cargo, including transhipments ex Durham, Orari, Kaipara, Koonya, and Monowai, and 42 rams. She load£ 26 tons general cargo for Dunedin, sailing the same evening. She returns tP Timaru on Monday next to load for "Wellington, Nelson, New Plymouth and Onehunga ENNERDALE FROM NEWCASTLE. The Ennerdale averaged 8 knots throughout the passage. After practique the vessel berthed at No. 1 wharf, where ahe discharges a large quantity of Newcastle coals, and 40,000 feet of timber. On 21st inst. a barque standing away to the sou'-we3t, and a large steamer with a red funnel bound W.N.W. were sighted. Captain Robinson is in charge of the collier, and has associated with him as officers: Chief, Mr W. B. Robertson,,|*te of the Holmdale; Second, Mr A. S. Moyes and Third, Mr J. Skye. The engineroom is in charge of Mr A. S. JackBon, late of the Holmdale Lauderdale. Mr J. Jeffries is second and Mr G. Smith is third engineers.
