TIMARU V. TEMDKA. The senior cup competition was resumed yesterday, Tiniaru mooting Tomuka. and Celtic meeting South End. pn tlio Athletic Grounds Timaru easily defeated Tomuka by nino wickets. Tennika, who were two men short, butted first, but O'Callaghan proved too much for them, the whole aide being out for 17 runs—Cantreli 12 being the only batsman to make a stand. O'Callaghan took 6 wickets for 4 runs, and performed the " hat trick." Timaru, batting three short, realised 74 in their first innings. o ; Callaghan, who showfl improved form for 36 nut out, and Campbell 12 were the only double figures. Tomuka made 91 in their second innings, ilradmoro playod a fine innings of 32 not out; Carew 23, Harbago 10, and Cox 10 were the other double figure scorers.
