BRITISH TWEEDS ABROAD. Press Association—By Tel.—Copyright. LONDON, Jan. 5. The woollen and worsted industry in Britain for 1910 shows an unprecedented Continental demand for British tweeds. SHIPYARDS BUSY. Lloyd's register stales that at the end of last year, excluding warships, there were 363 vessels, aggregating 1,131,503 tons being built in the United Kingdom, an increase of 218,000 tons compared with the end of 1909. A CORNER IN RABBITS. SYDNEY, Jan. <5. The Minister of Agriculture states that it has been discovered that a rirg has been formed to rule the rabbit market. It has cornored most of tho freezing places in Sydney and is thereby abl? to dominate the market and pay suppliers any price it likes.
