ATTE MOANAV A very enjoyable day was spent at Mr -T; Gunhion's favourite summer resort at -Te ; Moana, on ' Tuesday last, when a tennis tournament, organised by 'Mr "and' Mrs Way, was-held. Mr Jtevell ,(Timaru) . and '. Miss " Hartley (England) were the winners. Mrs Yi «y' provided- and presented the medals. Mrs Gabftes, Mrs Shaw, and Mrs .Ward presided' at the afternoon tea, tab'es, and-they earned the thanks of all present. TLMARTJ V. FAIRLIE. The annual match between the Timaru and Fairlie Tennis Clubs was played on-Monday, at Fairlie. Owing to the start being delayed by rain soma of the games were not completed.
