The "Telegraph" states that Tlsmanian growers' censure of Go rent Garden methods is too severe and unjust, and that some remarks made m Hobart are likely to arouse indignation amongst the many firms ?*"»ndueting business on perfectly sound and straightforward methods. It would be interesting to hear the opinions uf a conference of London brokers concerning those shipping fruit. All such criticisms would not be l>ased ou the actions of some few putting gfod fruit on the top of the case. A ieservation is necessary for those Ci.ing the work well. The prosperity of Covent Garden has grown and extended because it has proved to be the best medium between growers an'! consume^
