The chairman reported that all the works at rite course were complete d very sat-isfaetoi-Jy, and would prove of very considerable n-anelit to the public. A long circular letter from the Thames jockey Club was read, recountnig all that had been done at the conference of delegates of a very large number of country clubs. —The'resolutions and decisions arrived at were generally approved, and it was decided to write to the Thames Jockey Club thanking them for their action in the matter.
The secretary reported that he bad ordered a new .spring from Melbourne, ami had ice tho licensed booths to Mr J. W. ,Skinner. It was decided that the committee should do their bjst to attend to their visitors, and make it their business to see that tho club's hospitality was extended to all present.—lt was resolved that a gig be obtained for the use of stewards, and also a saddlehorse, and other small details in connection with the race meeting were arranged. It was resolved that the Programme Committee should meet on Monday. 28th. and prepare a m ora mine for tlie March meeting; that a special meeting of the Committee be held on the Friday following, December 2nd, at- 5 •p.m.; and that a rough balance-sheet
of the results of the .November meeting be available for the use of the Programme Committee on the 2Sth. Mr E. J. LeCren was elected a- mem. ber. The acceptances which closed at 9 p.m. were considered very satisfactory, the very trying weather aud hard going during the Christchureh week having tested" many liorsss very severely.
