"HIT ME AGAIN."
A livey incident occurred at the meeting of a sports body in Tiniaru ti:e other eveuiug. Quietly and monotonously the busmeES was being dealt with, when the president rose to lua feet, declaring that a certain member bud made an allegation in regard to the amateur status of another member that should certainly not be allowed to pass unheeded. The member complained of retorted that tha president did not speak tue truth, to which the president replied that the previous speaker was a scoundrel, and in general confusion that followed there was at least ono blow struck, and the offended one's voice was heard in stern tones, " Hit me again, and you'll be sorry for it." The other members, however, thought that the excitement had gone far enough, and separated the disputants, one of whom loft for home immediately, without his hat.
