CHRISTCHURCH GRAIN MARKET. CHRISTCHURCH, Oct, IS. The grain market shows practically no change. A little more business is being done with wheat in store, which, is being dealt with in order to make room for the coming wool clip. Outside of tliis there are but few transactions taking place, as growers are holding firmly offerings from the country are limited. Oats aro firm, but none are coming forward. The southern market has advanced in consequence of the demand from the. north. The continued dry weather is causing growers to hold on to what they have for feed purposes, and oatsheaf chaff has also advanced, for the same reason, and is now quoted at 60s and 67s 6d for bright samples at country stations.
