Admiral Dewey and, others congratulated him. Later Mr White Hew over Bennings race track, when a tank pipe broke and compelled him to descend hurriedly. On a second flight his monoplane swerved with a fence, and the aviator was shaken. NEW AIR RECORD. LONDON, Oct. IS. Lehlanee. an aviator, aeroplaned a mile in 03 seconds at St. Louis. This is a world's record.
