MUNICIPAL CONCERT. I'ndaunted by the weather comlitions. quite a fair crowd of people attended at Alexandra Square last, evening, and' listened with «'njoyment to the exopllent seleetions contril)utod by the Salvation Anuv Bund.

SKATING. The Olympia. Kink did good business yesterday, the evening session being exeellent'iy attended, and the floor being in fine order evcryouo enjoyed the sport. There will be an afternoon sivwion to-day, two sessions to-mor-row.

COXCEIIT AT WAIMATAITAI. A highly enjoyable and very successful concert was held in the 'Weslovan Church at Y\'aimataitai last night.'the proceeds being devoted to the Su'ndav School funds. There was a good attendance notwithstanding the unsettled state oi the weather, and all the items (solos, action songs, dialogues, recitations, etc.'), were "heartily" applauded. I hose who contributed to the programme were:— Rita. Turner, Ivy Collins, Lucy Hutchins, Rienc and Martha Ellis. Olive and Bertha. Wenlock, Gwen Tonkin, Olive Collins. Primmie Fox, May Warrington. Louis Hutchins, Eddie and Arthur Lukey, Arthur and Andrew Ellis, and Stanley Satterthwaite.

HAYWAItD'S PICTURES. An exceptionally large audience was present at the Theatre Royal last evenins, "hen Hay ward's Picture. Companv submitted their weekly change of programme. All excellent variety of scenic, dramatic and humorous .studies are included in the latest change, all being of a high degree of excellence.
