Three persons were killed and three seriously injured. A WOMAN'S SUICIDE. Per Press Association. CHRIS'['CHURCH.- Aug. -J5. Juanita Aioxandrina Burn, a married woman o'2 years of age. committed suicide last night by jumping off the end of the pier at New Brighton. The body was found this morning. She had partly undressed, leaving articles of cl'.thing on the pier and with them a note To her sister, saying, ""I could not stand these voices in my ears any longer, an-.! I am going on the. long journey." She had been in indifferent health lately. At the inquest on the body of Mrs Burn no fresh facts were disclosed, and a verdict was returned that dec*:3sed was found drowned but there was no ; evidence to show how tho body got into i the water.
