CHEAT LOCK-OUT. Received 9 p.m., August loth BERLIN, August 15. The lock-out at the yards west of Danzig is complete. Thirty-five thousand men are idle. The employers declare that there is ample time to fulfil contracts, and desire a long fight. Ships needing repairs are crossing vo British yards. Work on several German battleships is suspended.
MONSTER WELCOME. Received 10.-25 p.m.. August 15th. SYDXEY. August 15. There was a monster demonstration of welcome to the released strike leaders — Brennan, Burns, Lewis, and Gray. All the district mines were closed, and there was much enthusiasm. Strong speeches were made against the Coercion Act.
