The monthly meeting of the Waimate ' A. and 1\ Association was held on Sat- . urday altenioon. The President (-Mr ■ J. Jiitebener) was in the chair, and there wore IS meinbcry present. Husk ills) and trusted he would have the support of members until lie got the buamcss of tlie association at his linger ends. ihe North_Otugo Association advised November 17 and 18 as the elates of their show, and the Bank's Peninsula. Association -November 22] id as theirs. -V" 1 * dames -McDowell iorwarded his resignation as a member and asked that his sou be elected in his place.— Agreed to. Messrs A. Jack and u. ' Dyer were also elected.* Some discussion took place as to date of show. It was pointed out that lhursday in each week was already adopted by other Associations, from Oamaru to Christchureh. It was resolved that the .show be held on Thursday, November 3rd. i Accounts Jor £2 lis 9d were passed for payment. ( J lie question of providing different accommodation for oilier and meetings was brought up. The secretary su#geested that a couple of rooms should ■ be secured and that the Association, the Pacing Club and himself should ; pay a third of tlio rent each.
