WIDESPREAD DEVASTATION. Press Aseociation-tty Telegraph-Copyright TQTCTO, August 'l2? The floods in Japan washed away towns and villages. Many deaths have occurred, and the railways are interrupted. Thirty thousand houses in the lower part of Tokio are submerged. The loss is estimated at a million yen. In many places the inhabitants are threatened with starvation.
