FROZEN MEAT. Messrs Gilbert Anderson and Co., under date London, May 10th, report as follows:—"The trade, especially for beef and lamb, has been particularly good during the week. Both Home, \ chilled and frozen beef have been'selling lit higher prices. For Home and foreign mutton -prices have been di's-l iinctly easier. 1< rozen mutton is unaccountably weaker, and lower prices have not stimulated the trade. Lambs continue firm and are selling at slightly better prices with good demand. The shipments arriving are going into eonsumption rapidly and there in very little accumulation of .stocks. It i*s hoped that the high prices for l>ecf and the advent of warm weather will tend to improve- the demand for mutton, and thereby prevent a further drop in pri'.-e. Should shipments continue moderate, prices should .be fully maintained for th» future. CUSTOMS REVENUES. , Tlio following is a comparative statement showing the amount of Customs duties collected at the Port of Tiniaru during the month of June:— 1909. 1910.
