Weather permitting, the Rugby Union competitions will be continued to-dav. The grounds are certaiu to be on the sticky side, and in order to prevent the thinly-grassed No. 1 ground from being churned up, only one match will be plaved on it this afternoon. The junior game (Celtic v. Pirates) allotted to No. 1 has been transferred to No. 2 ground, and the third-grade fixture (Pirates 111. v. Celtic III.) has been postponed. In the senior grade, Tiniaru and Pirates meet on No. 1, Celtic and Star on No. i, and Temuka and Zingari at Victoria Park. In the event of further rain necessitating postponement, notice will be posted at the secretary's office this morning.
