TEMUKA V. TIMAHTJ. Yesterday, a match was played on the links, Highfield, between teams representing the Temuka and Timaru | Clubs. Although a light nor'-wester ! blew during the morning the day was } practically an ideal one for golf. Bc- ( sides; the competing teams a large num- | ber of ladies and gentlemen were play- | ing in the Bowo Cup round, and as I the various groups soon became scattered over the links the scene from I the Knob was a pretty and animated I one. Timaru managed to defeat their opponents bv the narrow margin of two uames.
