THE ZULU KING. Presg Asßooiation-By Telegraph-Copyright LONDON, June 1. A Renter's telegram, states that Dinizulu will be transferred to Pretoria. It is understood that ho will shortly be released and placed on a farm. GERMAN PRESS COMMENT. BERLIN, June 1. Some German newspapers award Mr Botha the credit of bringing about the union, adding that South Africa, though nominally bound to Great Britain, is in reality independent. THE MINISTRY CRITICISED. PRETORIA, June 2. The Transvaal "Leader" applauds the inclusion of Messrs Sauer, Malan and Burton in tlie Botha Ministry. The Johannesbury "Star" condemns Messrs Fischer and Hertzog's inclusion. The latter is intensely gratified with the Freestaters. Mr Lionel Phillips, speaking at Johannesburg, welcomed Mr Smuts' appointment. CHIEF AND WIVES REUNITED. Tlie first meeting of the Union Cabinet decided to release Dinizulu, who will live at. Rycstroom with his wives in reasonable liberty. An allowance of £SOO per annum will bo made to him, subject to good behaviour.
