The s.s. Inver'cargill left InvereargUi at 7 p.m. last evening for Waikawa; where she loads a cargo of timber for this pert.

The s.s. Moura is due at Timaru on Tuesday next, to wke in SOO tons produce fGr Auckland. She leaves for Auckland the same evening. The Canterbury Steam .Shipping Company's s.s. Storm is due here' to load for Lytteitoii and Wanganui about 9th in?t. The s.s. Corinna arrived from Picton at ?>.30 last evening, and after loading 40 tens general, and taking in 10 tons sundries, etc., sailed for Dunediu at midnieht.

The s.s. Komata left Newcastle at o p.m. mi Tuesday for Timaui. ami is due on Monday p.iidit. ■with coal, timber, and superphosphates. . The Shaw. Saville and Aihion Company's steamer Tainui started on I;er fifth voyage from London to Wellington on Thursday last; and sailed from Plymouth on Saturday. The R.M.S. Corinthis orrived from Gisborne early yesterday morning, am' commenced the loading of lier lame cargo of frozen meat, tallcw. etc. She is expected to complete leading operations by Monday evening. The Federal Houlder liner Drayton Grange is expected at Timaru from "Wellington about June 12tli, to load for West Coast of England ports. She leaves Lyfctelton. for Avonmoath about 18th inst. Messrs D. C. Turnbull and Co., are local agents. A large three-masted sailing slu'p passed Spit on Tuesday at 4.80 p.m., steering east. No signals were exchanged, and it may possibly be the barque Triton, which i« daily expected at Timaru from Maiden Island. .
