ENORMOUS INFLUX OF JEWS. The proclamation of the Constitution at 'turkey has thrown open the doors of Palestine to ihe incoming Jews from all part.-- of the world. In Jerusalem atone, four-hit lis of the population (100,000; now belong to the Jewish faith: while at Jaffa, Tiberias, Sal'etl and Haifa (Mount Carniel.) Jews are reckoned [>y tens of thousands. Thousands- are escaping from Persia- to find shelter and protection in the Holy Land, while every snip from Odessa carries hundreds of them. The Jordan Valley, once the property oi' the ox-Sultan Abdul llamid, is being eagerly sought after by Jewish capitalists and syndicates. The Zionists, whose agents are distributed all over the land, are buying up the rich properties ol' the Mahommedau Efi'ondi's. whose incomes since the revolution have considerably lessened. The whole city is essntially a. Jewish town. Hanking, as well as trade and commerce, is monopolised by Jews. The Government has found it necessary to organize a company of .Jewish gendarmes. TTundreds of thousands of pounds are annually sent from Europe and America to enable the colonists to build homes, hospitals, schools, and invalid homes. Ov<-r one hundred Jewish schools already exist in Jerusalem. Synogogues are rising np evcrvwhere. The value of the land has risen fourfold. The ignorant and poverty-stric-ken fellaheen (peasants) are beimr ousted from their homes and villages by tse •sharp European Jew settler whose modern agricultural implements and methods have made the land produce harvests never before dreamt of by the natives. The Anglo-Palestine Company, a. Zionist bankiriff and commercial enterprise, is nnshing the cause of Israel with splendid determination.
