EMPIRE DAY.
CELEBRATIONS IN LONDON. IFress Aseociation-Bv Telegraph-Copyright LONDON, May 25. Empire Day was celebrated quietly. Addresses at the schools, were a leading feature. Lord Roberts and many others watched the Imperial Cadets and competitors at the Stock Exchange Rifle Club's ranges at Aldgate. There was a holiday throughout Canada. A monument to South African heroes was unveiled at Toronto, and a monument to Queen Victoria at Gibraltar.
