Mr Botha has proyisionally completed his Cabinet, but the full list of names will not be announced till May 31st. Viscount Gladstone is now visiting Pretoria. THE UNIONIST PARTY. Received 10.15 p.m., May 25th. CAPETOWN, May 25. The Progressive conference at Bloemfontein formed a unionist party of South Africa. Dr Jameson was unanimously elected leader, and received an ovation. He remarked that he was glad that they had chosen a man having the largest following, for judging by Mr Botha's past they believed he would do his best. Dr Jameson summed up the new party's policy as equality of opportunity and the material development of South Africa for the common interest, the legitimate protection of South Africans, and reciorocal preference with the Empire. He hoped that they would get rid of the oucbear of racialism.
