RAGGING ON THE RAILWAY.
I BOY BADLY BUKNED. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, March 9. I A serious case of ragging is reported to have occurred in the railway engine sheds at 3.80 on Tuesday morning. An. engine cleaner named Annabell, aged about 20, either went to sleep at his work, or during a spell, was covered with "waste" soaked in kerosene which was afterwards set alight. The joke assumed serious consequences, Annabell being badly burned about the face, hands and upper portion of the body He was. brought to "Wanganui hospital where his injuries have been attended to. It is understood that an inquiry was 'held by departmental officers at Taihape.-
