Ralph Connor's Great New Novel THE SETTLER fUlph. Connor has written another splendid story—a straight, clean, brave book, breathing the spirit of all that is human and strong. But Ralph Connor believes in the virtues of the open air. His hero sets off to work out his salvati-on on a ranch. He has good stuff in him, and when he finds himself pitted alone against the world he accepts the challenge to leave all that is mean and ugly and to play the man at whatever cost.
