Mr Mulviliilt mentioned the case of Mr Tetlieridge, and the clearing of gorse. Mr Tetlieridge had been imable to attend that meeting, but he had t-old him (the speaker) that it was understood that another person was to clear the gorse. That person, however, had not done so, and Mr Tetlieridge was willing to pay any reasonable price for the work being" done. It was resolved that Mr Tetlieridge be informed that unless lie gives the overseer some definite assurance that the work will he put. in. hand within a fortnight proceedings will be taken.
